I think that was the very beginning of my life in craft. It was in learning that I could take 2 needles a length of yarn and turn it into something else that didn't exist before. It was the small accomplishments that helped me realize that I'm not totally dependent on what someone else had made that gave me the confidence to go further. I've been crafting all my life; my mother was always teaching us something painting, knitting, making dolls....I think everyone has some creativity in them and crafts can help them discover that. Crafts also bring people together and gets you thinking outside the box!
